Job summary

Anthropic in Singapore is seeking its first Recruiting Coordinator for APAC to deliver a warm, high-touch interview experience across the region and beyond. You will partner with APAC recruiters and hiring managers, acting as the local point of contact for candidates and interviewers.

Own end-to-end coordination for APAC, document workflows, and help scale hiring operations as Anthropic grows. You will use AI tools to streamline processes and ensure smooth, timely communication.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in recruiting coordination or high volume scheduling across APAC.
• Experience coordinating across time zones and markets in APAC.
• Hands-on experience with applicant tracking system (e.g., Greenhouse) and scheduling tools (e.g., ModernLoop, GoodTime).
• Fluent written English and clear, friendly communication.

About the role

Anthropic is growing quickly across Asia Pacific, and our International Recruiting Coordination team is building for it. As our first Recruiting Coordinator based in Singapore, you'll deliver a warm, high touch interview experience for candidates across APAC, including Japan, Korea, India, Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. You'll partner closely with our APAC recruiters and recruiting managers, be the local point of contact for candidates and interviewers in the region and help keep hiring moving around the clock as part of a follow the sun coordination model with your teammates.

As you'll be first in seat, you'll also help shape how coordination works in a region where we're still building: spotting what's missing, documenting what works and making it easier for the people who join after you.

You’ll own coordination for your region end to end and act as our go to operator for APAC hiring logistics, working independently with support from your manager.

Responsibilities

• Schedule a high volume of APAC interview loops, from hiring manager screens through onsites, debriefs and reference calls, across multiple time zones, languages and stakeholder calendars.
• Be the primary point of contact for candidates on logistics, with a warm, clear and culturally aware tone that makes every candidate feel supported and informed.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers as a trusted advisor: flag capacity risks, local holidays and market norms early, and help them see around corners.
• Keep our systems accurate for APAC roles, including Greenhouse job setup, interview plans; scheduling tool configuration and supervise automations.
• Provide coverage within our follow the sun model, with clean handoffs so candidates never feel the gaps between regions.
• Support recruiters and RecOps with regional hiring operations as our APAC footprint grows, such as new locations, entity changes, offer logistics and onboarding handoffs.
• Improve our processes and document what works.
• Independently scope and lead projects, from problem to adopted solution.
• Use AI tools as a core part of your daily workflow.

You may be a good fit if you have

• 4+ years of experience in recruiting coordination or high volume scheduling, ideally supporting multiple APAC markets.
• Experience coordinating across time zones and markets, with an understanding of local business norms across APAC.
• Hands-on experience with an applicant tracking system (e.g., Greenhouse) and a scheduling tool (e.g., ModernLoop, GoodTime).
• Excellent written communication, especially a knack for friendly, informative emails that build rapport and convey information clearly.
• Comfort creating structure where there isn't one yet, and the judgment to know when to escape.
• Hands on fluency with AI tools, and the judgment to know when to trust the output and when to override it.
• A love of feedback, and comfort both requesting and providing it.
• Fluency in English (native or business-level).
• Additional APAC languages (e.g., Japanese, Korean or Mandarin) a plus.
• A genuine interest in Anthropic's mission and our deep commitment to AI safety.

Logistics

• Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
• Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
• Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
• Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
