Job summary

Coilcraft in Singapore seeks a Process Improvement Manager to provide engineering analysis and support for improvement initiatives across Asia Pacific, coordinating with regional teams and the US Head Office to drive quality, efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities include reviewing manufacturing processes, analyzing data to diagnose issues, developing corrective actions, and supporting regional projects.

Qualifications

• Advanced/Specialist Diploma or higher in Engineering.
• Over 12 years of experience in process improvement engineering roles.
• Experience in electronic components manufacturing industry.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-country teams and communicate findings clearly to the US Head Office.
• Willingness and ability to travel to Indonesia and India at short notice.
• Knowledge of manufacturing quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to review manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, and reliability.
• Analyze process engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance data from location teams to diagnose issues and recommend engineering solutions for evaluation.
• Provide technical input to develop corrective actions and work instructions for processes identified as out of control.
• Support production and manufacturing systems improvement projects in Singapore and the region through detailed analysis, documentation, coordination, and progress reporting.
• Liaise with the US Head Office and regional teams to align on improvement priorities, technical proposals, project status, and resource requirements.
• Compare process performance metrics across APAC sites and disseminate relevant best practices and lessons learned.
• Facilitate the transfer of technical knowledge and process improvement methodologies to build local expertise in Singapore.
