Job summary

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work under tight deadlines, and possess familiarity with scheduling processes, ETRM data, and Excel for reporting. Training and development provided.

Qualifications

• Experience or willingness to learn power and gas market operations, including scheduling, balancing, and transmission processes.
• Familiarity with operational systems; exposure to ETRM platforms is advantageous but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under time-sensitive deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and validate trade data in the ETRM system, managing trade lifecycle activities including trade capture, confirmations, amendments, allocations, scheduling, and settlements.
• Execute daily scheduling and nomination activities for gas, power, and environmental certificate transactions, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment of delivery obligations.
• Support real-time and day-ahead scheduling activities, coordinating with traders, counterparties, market operators, and service providers to manage schedule changes and delivery issues.
• Monitor physical positions and support balancing activities to meet delivery obligations and minimise operational risk.
• Validate and reconcile settlement statements and invoices.
• Maintain accurate records across ETRM, scheduling, and settlement systems, while supporting operational reporting, compliance requirements, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with traders, counterparties, market operators, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and support efficient transaction processing.
