Job summary

Vertex Search is partnering on a major cross-border renewable power project delivering electricity to Singapore. The role blends power markets, regulation, stakeholder management and development, with exposure to senior stakeholders across the Singapore energy market.

You will support development and commercialisation, engaging with government agencies, regulators, partners and internal teams to progress licensing, offtake and contracts, while identifying risks and shaping commercial strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience in renewable energy project development or power markets.
• Familiarity with PPA/offtake or energy contracting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Singapore electricity market and regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with Singapore government and regulatory stakeholders (EMA, etc.).
• Manage permitting, licensing and regulatory workstreams for project development.
• Coordinate across commercial, technical, legal and project teams to identify risks and progress activities.
• Support offtake and commercialisation strategy including long-term PPAs.
• Develop relationships with prospective power buyers and strategic partners.
• Lead customer engagement and commercial discussions through contract negotiation and execution.
• Monitor market developments to inform commercial strategy and bankable structures.
• Provide senior management with visibility on progress, opportunities, regulatory changes and risks.
