Job summary

Gunvor Group seeks a Power Origination Analyst in Singapore to originate and analyse power transactions across APAC. You will manage a pipeline of opportunities, structure deals, and lead commercial discussions with counterparties.

The role collaborates with traders, risk, and operations to optimise portfolio performance and monetise opportunities. Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in gas, renewables, or power trading, strong modelling and communication skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities for portfolio analysis and pricing.
Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication.
Commercially minded with ability to build external relationships and own workstreams.

Responsibilities

Support APAC Power origination strategy and maintain an active pipeline of counterparties and projects.
Originate and evaluate renewable energy, storage, and related power transactions; prepare term sheets.
Lead commercial discussions and negotiate terms; develop market analyses and transaction materials.
Collaborate with Risk, Legal, Credit, Finance, Tax and Operations to ensure governance and approvals.
Provide analytical support for portfolio management, hedging, and monetisation efforts.
