Job summary

Booking.com is seeking a Manager, People Operations (APAC) based in Singapore to lead end-to-end People Operations strategy and delivery for the APAC employee population. You will translate global standards into compliant, scalable operations and drive excellence across the employee lifecycle, reporting to the Global Senior Manager People Operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of people leadership experience in an international HR or People Operations environment.
• Strong experience in People Operations service delivery, payroll processes, and HR systems (Workday experience strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated experience leading process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and senior business relationships.
• Solid knowledge of APAC labor law and HR compliance requirements.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead APAC People Operations objectives, priorities, and roadmaps aligned with global strategy.
• Translate global frameworks into regional execution tailored to APAC needs.
• Represent People Operations in regional and cross-functional initiatives.
• Own the senior People Operations lead for the APAC population.
• Ensure accurate, compliant personnel administration and payroll inputs.
• Drive SLAs, KPIs, quality standards, and compliance across operations.
• Improve People Operations processes to enhance employee experience and efficiency.
• Monitor data integrity and processes across People systems (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow).
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Review QBRs, scorecards, and performance insights; drive improvement actions.
