Job summary

UPS Asia Group Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Brokerage Assist Agent to drive smooth onboarding for new customers, validate brokerage setup, and establish effective shipment monitoring and exception management.

You will work with Account Executives, Origin and Destination Brokerage teams, and customers to identify and resolve customs clearance risks. Responsibilities include welcoming new customers, monitoring shipments, resolving delays, and driving proactive support.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in developing, maintaining, and optimizing solutions using Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
• Understanding of cross-border customs brokerage compliance regulatory knowledge and experience in brokerage operation.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Review enrolment requests from Account Executives for accuracy.
• Validate customer information and documentation for compliance.
• Create and maintain customer profiles, including CHNs.
• Conduct welcome calls and explain onboarding requirements.
• Monitor the first shipments to identify holds or clearance issues.
• Collaborate with internal Brokerage teams to resolve shipment delays.
• Identify documentation gaps and guide corrective actions.
• Automate onboarding processes and develop dashboards for management.
• Propose brokerage solutions in collaboration with Enterprise Sales.
• Analyze customer requirements and support complex scenarios across trade lanes.
