ARAMEX INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS PRIVATE LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Asia Pacific Head of Ocean Freight to lead and transform ocean freight across the APAC region from Singapore.
The role requires strategic vision, cost-efficient operations, and cross-functional leadership to align regional activities with global objectives. The successful candidate will own P&L for ocean freight in APAC, drive digital transformation with analytics, optimize carrier networks, and champion sustainability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field; MBA desirable.
- 10+ years in freight/logistics with increasing responsibility.
- Strong understanding of trade regulations and customs.
- Proven track record in strategic planning and performance improvement.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced regional setting.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute Asia Pacific ocean freight strategy.
- Lead end-to-end ocean freight operations across APAC.
- Own regional ocean freight P&L and cost optimization.
- Establish performance management frameworks with KPIs.
- Lead digital transformation and analytics initiatives.
- Drive strategic sourcing and carrier management.
- Ensure compliance and risk governance.
- Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders.
- Champion sustainability and ESG initiatives.
- Build and develop a high-performing team.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
