Job summary

Nebius is hiring an Engineering Manager for Network Infrastructure to own APAC delivery. You will define scope, drive decisions, and align SRE, SWE, network, security, and platform teams. Early on, you’ll code or automate, stepping into incidents as needed, with independence from EU teams.

You’ll shape automation, observability, and reliability standards as the team grows, building a scalable and trusted toolchain across time zones.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software, SRE, network or infra engineering with cross-team leadership.
• Engineering background with production systems experience and trust-building with technical teams.
• Ability to read designs, assess trade-offs and discuss reliability and failure modes.
• Strong fundamentals in Linux, networking, automation, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Set engineering bar for code quality, design reviews, on-call, and incident practices.
• Own end-to-end delivery of APAC network infra initiatives from scoping to adoption.
• Define scope, success criteria, and align cross-functional owners to drive decisions to closure.
• Review designs, challenge assumptions, surface risks and dependencies early.
• Stay hands-on when needed: incidents, coding, automation to unblock the team.
• Drive tool adoption and real, well-documented workflows as the default way of working.
• Keep stakeholders across time zones informed with honest status updates.
