Seoulstart seeks a seasoned APAC Merchant Risk Leader to guide risk operations for Payments across Asia-Pacific. You will build and own threat detection, investigations, and escalation workflows while ensuring service quality and customer impact are tightly managed.

The role requires extensive payments/fintech experience, deep expertise in merchant risk and compliance, and a proven ability to lead senior ICs across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in payments/fintech with 3+ years people management.
• Deep expertise in merchant credit, fraud, or brand risk and compliance management.
• Proven track record leading senior ICs across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead APAC Merchant Risk Operations team for Payments products.
• Own APAC merchant risk SLAs, quality, loss metrics, and customer impact.
• Oversee merchant monitoring, investigation, and escalation workflows across APAC.
