Job summary

LMAX Group is seeking a senior APAC market data sales leader to shape and drive the commercial strategy for its market data business across the APAC region. You will engage with diverse client segments, coordinate with internal teams, and deliver innovative pricing and licensing solutions to expand market presence.

You will collaborate with Broker Account Management, technology, and product teams, positioning market data products effectively while ensuring alignment and maximizing coverage

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales strategy development and execution within financial market data or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of APAC financial markets and client segments including brokers, hedge funds, and banks.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement commercial models including pricing and licensing frameworks.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams including technology, product, and commercial units across geographies.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and closing new business opportunities.
• Deep knowledge of market data products and their applications in diverse client environments.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, complex market ecosystem with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Go to Market strategy for LMAX's market data business in the APAC region, targeting various client segments including re-distributors, sell side, buy side, and brokers.
• Build and execute a comprehensive APAC sales strategy that aligns with local market dynamics and identifies new opportunities for Realtime, historic and Flow data products.
• Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in close partnership with Broker Account Management, technology and product teams.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Market Data products and commercials, supporting Broker Account Management teams during client interactions, pitches, negotiations, and product positioning.
• Gain a deep understanding of how LMAX Market data sets are utilized across brokers, hedge funds, and banks
• Ensure alignment across internal commercial teams to prevent duplication and maximize market coverage.
