Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in APAC seeks a Manager of Interior Design to oversee interior design across new builds, renovations, and adaptive reuse. The role focuses on elevating design quality, brand alignment, and operational efficiency in luxury hospitality projects.

The candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage lookbooks, review FF&E, and collaborate with Senior Director to ensure design excellence from pre-concept to post-opening. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field (minimum 4 years).
• LEED accreditation is beneficial.
• Licensed/Registered Professional status is beneficial (e.g., Registered Interior Designer).
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in design for hospitality luxury brands.
• Minimum 4 years luxury brand design team experience managing projects from the operator side.
• Minimum 2 years design management experience leading renovation projects.

Responsibilities

• Support interior design on new build, adaptive reuse, conversion projects and major renovations in APAC from pre-concept to post-opening.
• Lead selected interior design scope renovation projects with Senior Director oversight.
• Develop Design Briefs with data gathering and analysis.
• Create Master Vision and Renovation Scope documents aligning with brand quality and product.
• Provide FF&E recommendations and review design submissions.
• Attend design reviews, meetings, and site reviews as required.
• Ensure design aligns with Four Seasons brand guidelines and philosophy.
• Stay updated on trends, materials, and technology for design excellence.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in interior design
