Pacific Life Re is seeking an experienced Underwriter & Claims Consultant for the APAC region to deliver high quality underwriting assessments and support key activities within the team. You will collaborate with senior managers to shape underwriting propositions and may supervise other staff.

The role emphasizes governance, training, audits, and client engagement to strengthen relationships and ensure adherence to risk philosophies across Chorus and related platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in life and claims underwriting at a senior level.
• Ability to audit client activity and apply risk philosophies.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality underwriting assessments and support underwriting and claims activities in APAC.
• Lead or act as SME for Chorus; participate in audits and client onboarding.
• Engage and train clients, mentor team members, and align with risk philosophy changes.
