Job summary

Proof of Search is seeking a Sales Director in Singapore to lead institutional client acquisition and relationships for digital asset, derivatives, and FX trading solutions. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, reporting directly to founders and shaping the regional go-to-market approach.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in institutional sales, an established APAC network, and deep knowledge of execution workflows, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in institutional sales or business development in financial markets.
• Established APAC institutional client network.
• Strong understanding of execution workflows, market structure and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the regional sales strategy for institutional digital asset, derivatives and FX trading solutions.
• Originate, pursue and close new institutional clients across hedge funds, asset managers, banks, brokers and market makers.
• Run complex, consultative sales cycles from first contact through onboarding and commercial agreement.
• Build and maintain senior relationships with heads of trading, CIOs and COOs.
• Develop partnerships with liquidity providers, prime brokers, exchanges and other ecosystem players.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to feedback client needs and market intelligence.
• Ensure onboarding aligns with regulatory requirements and client due diligence.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast; report performance to leadership.
• Represent the firm at industry events, conferences and client meetings across the region.
• Over time, recruit, mentor and lead additional sales and business development hires.
