Job summary

Kumar Organic Products (Singapore) PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced General Manager – Asia Pacific to lead the Singapore entity’s operations and steer growth across the APAC region. You will oversee sales, logistics, formulation, and R&D, while ensuring alignment with the Director and company strategy.

The role requires end-to-end responsibility for AOP achievement, customer coordination, and overall business operations in Singapore, combining hands-on management with strategic oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Management, or a related field.
• 15–20 years of relevant experience, preferably in specialty chemicals, organic chemicals, ingredients, personal care, coatings, polymers, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, or a related industry.
• Experience in sales/business development, technical services, formulation/R&D, supply chain, and operations will be highly valued.
• Prior experience managing a business unit, subsidiary, laboratory, or regional operation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve AOP and develop sales strategies for Singapore and the Asia Pacific markets.
• Oversee end-to-end logistics and supply-chain activities for the Singapore business.
• Coordinate customer-specific formulation development, product modifications, samples, trials, and technical support.
• Manage and coordinate R&D activities and coordinate projects with customers and the Director.
• Provide regular business updates, market intelligence, financial information, and strategic recommendations to the Director.
