Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Compliance professional to provide advisory support to the APAC FX team across Singapore, Australia and China, interpreting regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

You will help manage the monitoring and surveillance program, participate in governance forums, assess regulatory changes, and liaise with legal, risk and business partners to strengthen controls and deliver training.

Qualifications

• Experience in FX regulatory advisory within a global financial institution.
• Knowledge of MAS and cross-border regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to coordinate with legal, risk and control teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance advisory support to the APAC FX team across Singapore, Australia and China, advising on regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Assist in managing the monitoring and surveillance program for the APAC FX business.
• Represent compliance in governance forums, prepare reports for management and regulators.
• Evaluate regulatory changes and identify gaps; propose procedural improvements and control enhancements.
• Coordinate with legal entities and risk partners to implement regulatory changes and training.
