Job summary

BitGo is building a Singapore FIU capability and seeking an experienced FIU Lead to own TM alerts and blockchain investigations. You will automate processes, validate monitoring models, and write policies governing TM operations. This senior role is hands-on and autonomous, serving as the APAC SME for transaction monitoring and on-chain analytics.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Product teams, interact with regulators, and help scale the TM programme across BitGo's APAC footprint.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years' experience in transaction monitoring, AML/CFT or financial crime investigations.
• Hands-on experience with blockchain analytics tools (TRM Labs, Chainalysis and/or Elliptic) and on-chain tracing.
• Solid understanding of digital asset typologies (mixers, bridges, DeFi, sanctions evasion, scams, ransomware).
• Experience writing or validating TM scenarios, models or risk-scoring methodologies.
• Knowledge of Singapore AML/CFT requirements for DPT providers (PS Act, MAS PS-N02).
• Strong written communication, ability to explain complex findings to non-specialists and regulators.

Responsibilities

• First-line review of TM alerts, document rationales, and escalate for STRs.
• Design and implement automation to reduce manual alert handling.
• Own alert-handling procedures, QA sampling, SLAs and performance metrics.
• Analyze alert volumes and typologies; tune rules to improve coverage.
