Job summary

BitGo, a digital asset infrastructure company, is building an in‑region FIU capability in Singapore. You will own transaction monitoring and blockchain investigations for BitGo Singapore, lead first-line review of TM alerts, and drive automation with the engineering team.

You will be the in‑house SME on TM and on-chain analytics in APAC, with autonomy in a fast-paced environment and opportunities to shape policy and processes across MAS guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years' experience in transaction monitoring, AML/CFT or financial crime investigations.
• Hands-on experience with blockchain analytics tools (TRM Labs, Chainalysis and/or Elliptic).
• Knowledge of digital asset typologies including mixers, bridges, DeFi, sanctions evasion, scams and ransomware.
• Experience writing or validating TM scenarios, models or risk-scoring methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Transaction monitoring and alert review: triage, disposition and auditable rationales.
• Automation: design rules-based auto-closure and enrich alerts with on-chain data.
• Quality and coverage: own alert-handling procedures, QA sampling and SLAs.
• Rule and threshold tuning: analyze volumes, false positives and improve coverage.
• Deep-dive blockchain investigations: trace fund flows across chains and identify high-risk counterparties.
• Create investigation reports and support regulatory responses.
• Model validation and governance: validate TM scenarios and data quality with engineering partners.
• Policies and procedures: draft TM policies aligned with MAS requirements and BitGo standards.
