Job summary

PALFINGER Asia Pacific is seeking a Service Engineer to deliver technical support and service across the APAC region, both remotely and on site. The role diagnoses hydraulic, electrical and electronic issues, delivers training, handles warranties and parts, and travels about 60% to support dealers and customers.

The ideal candidate has a technical diploma, at least 5 years in heavy equipment, and strong English and Mandarin skills to engage with regional teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with heavy equipment in hydraulic/electrical environments.
• Candidates from heavy equipment, crane or construction machinery preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel ~60% and work irregular hours as needed.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin to support regional dealers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Resolve technical issues for dealers, partners and end-users remotely and on-site.
• Diagnose faults in hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems and provide solutions.
• Coordinate with factory on parts and service matters; manage warranty cases.
• Conduct technical training for dealers, partners and end-users and provide installation support.
• Support spare parts management and service reporting for the APAC region.
• Travel within APAC region (~60%) and work irregular hours to support customers.
