Job summary

JDA WMS Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on technical specialist to support end-users of heavy machinery in Singapore and across APAC. The role involves field service, commissioning, and training, with travel across Southeast Asia.

You will coordinate with dealers, manage warranties, and contribute to regional service standards. The ideal candidate has a diploma or NTC certificate, 3+ years in heavy equipment support, strong electronics/hydraulics knowledge, and proficiency with SAP and MS Office

Qualifications

• Diploma or NTC Certificate required.
• Willingness to travel ~30% primarily within Southeast Asia.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience supporting heavy equipment.
• Strong grasp of Electronics and Hydraulics; ability to read circuit diagrams.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• SAP familiarity beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 technical support to end-users operating machinery and equipment.
• Deliver on-ground support to APAC Industrial and Underground network, including Singapore.
• Gather and communicate field quality issues, coordinate resolutions with stakeholders.
• Manage commissioning and handover of new equipment and projects in designated markets.
• Deliver product training sessions on operation and maintenance as needed.
• Roll out best-practice service standards across the region.
• Coordinate parts inventory to support regional equipment uptime.
• Handle warranty claims and support for customers and dealers.
• Contribute to local technical support operations during non-travel periods.

• Provide technical support to end-users operating machinery and equipment within the Industrial and Underground business segments
• Deliver Level 2 technical assistance to dealers across the APAC Industrial and Underground network, with direct on-the-ground support in select markets (e.g., Singapore)
• Gather and communicate field quality issues, and coordinate resolutions with relevant stakeholders
• Manage the commissioning and handover process for new equipment and projects in designated markets
• Deliver product training sessions (covering operation, maintenance, and related topics) as needed
• Roll out and share best-practice service standards across the region
• Coordinate parts inventory to ensure equipment uptime is supported regionally
• Handle warranty claims and support on behalf of customers and dealers
• Contribute to local technical support operations during non-travel periods

Requirements

• Diploma or NTC Certificate
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% primarily within Southeast Asia
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience supporting heavy equipment
• Strong grasp of Electronics and Hydraulics, with the ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams
• Solid working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Prior experience managing a large equipment fleet is beneficial
• Familiarity with SAP systems is beneficial
