Regional Field Service Engineer (Hydraulics & Heavy Equipment)

Job summary

JDA WMS Pte Ltd is seeking a field service engineer to troubleshoot and resolve heavy equipment issues for customers in the Underground business, with on-site coverage across Singapore and SEA markets.

You will provide technical support to dealers, lead commissioning of new deployments, and train customers and dealers on operation and maintenance. Travel within Southeast Asia is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience supporting heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electronics and hydraulics, including reading and interpreting circuit diagrams.
• Experience maintaining or supporting a large equipment fleet is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve heavy equipment issues for customers in the Underground business.
• Provide technical support to dealers for the Industrial and Underground segments, including on-site coverage for key priority markets (e.g., Singapore).
• Collect field feedback, identify and escape recurring quality concerns, and help drive corrective actions.
• Lead commissioning activities and coordinate equipment handover for new deployments/projects in selected markets.
• Conduct product training (customers and dealers), including operation and maintenance guidance when required.
• Drive adoption of regional service standards by sharing and implementing best practices across the service network.
• Ensure parts availability by coordinating parts readiness so critical components are stocked for continuous machine uptime across the region.
• Provide warranty technical support to both customers and dealers.
