Job summary

INNERGY CONSULTING PTE. LTD. seeks a skilled Field Service Engineer to lead installation, commissioning and on-site support for diesel generator systems across Asia-Pacific.

The role involves problem solving, rapid troubleshooting and training customers and distributors to uphold service standards. The ideal candidate has a Mechanical Engineering background with 5+ years of hands-on field experience, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Asia-Pacific and Southeast Asia.
• Strong presentation and written/verbal communication skills.
• Dependable team player with problem-solving and task-oriented mindset.
• Experience with engines such as MHI, MTU, John Deere or Volvo is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out equipment installation, commissioning and on-site customer training as required.
• Deliver prompt after-sales technical support, troubleshooting and on-site services.
• Investigate customer complaints and product failures; coordinate corrective actions.
• Support service and training across diesel generator sets from small to high-capacity units.
• Keep technical and training materials current and well-maintained.
• Conduct service and troubleshooting training for distributors and dealers.
