Job summary

UBS is seeking an ETF Capital Markets Specialist in APAC to support ETF trading, educate clients on industry practices, and ensure best execution in a fast-paced, international environment. Based in Singapore or Hong Kong, you will work with a diverse team of experts to enhance primary market activities for UBS ETFs.

You will build and maintain relationships with market makers, APs, exchanges and broker dealers, coordinate create-redeem flows, and drive project initiatives to improve NAV spreads

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in asset management or related passive investments field.
• Master’s degree in mathematics, economics or finance.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to internal and external audiences.
• Proficiency with programming languages and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, Matlab).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ETF trading and education to achieve best execution.
• Provide ongoing education and updates on investment products to clients and colleagues.
• Act as primary contact for broker dealers, market makers, and exchanges for ETF primary trading.
• Maintain relationships with Market Makers, Authorized Participants and ETF desks.
• Coordinate create-redeem processes between Portfolio Management and APs.
• Support strategic projects to redefine the Primary Market operating model.
• Conduct quantitative data analysis to aid decisions using SQL, Python, VBA.
• Improve risk management and product integrity through automation.
