Job summary

Mizuho Bank, Ltd in Singapore seeks a seasoned Data Platform & Enterprise Architecture Leader to drive APAC data platform strategy, modernization, and governance across regions. You will guide architecture forums, deliver scalable platforms, and ensure security, performance, and reliable operations while mentoring engineering teams.

The role collaborates with Japan Head Office, vendors, and product teams to align technology with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 10 years delivering in strong engineering teams.
• Strong background in enterprise/data/solution architecture and modernization programs (cloud adoption and large-scale solutions).
• Strong stakeholder management across engineering, product, and senior business leaders; APAC and Japan/global collaboration.
• Solid foundation in software engineering and design practices (performance, SOLID, domain modelling).
• DevOps/automation and CI/CD with security/performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute APAC data platform architecture strategy and governance.
• Architect scalable, secure data platforms to support analytics, AI/ML, and GenAI.
• Drive modernization by integrating legacy systems into unified data ecosystems.
• Lead Delivery: project plans, budgets, risks, and vendor oversight.
• Establish architecture principles and lead architecture forums.
• Mentor engineering teams and lead design discussions.
