Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is seeking a Data Analyst who translates data into business insights. You will partner with regional stakeholders across APAC, supporting decisions through data analysis, reporting, dashboards, and performance tracking.

The ideal candidate thrives on business reporting and insights generation, with strong SQL, Excel, and visualization skills, and excellent communication to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or Insights Analyst role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of data analysis, reporting, and data visualization best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience presenting insights to business stakeholders and senior management.

Responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Analyze business, sales, marketing, and eCommerce performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights.
• Translate data into actionable recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
• Conduct regular data quality checks and ensure reporting consistency across markets.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools.
• Prepare recurring business performance reports for management and stakeholders.
• Present findings in a concise and meaningful manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Continuously improve reporting processes and reporting efficiency.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and analytical needs.
• Work with regional teams, external agencies, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of data and insights.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, sales, and insights teams on business performance reporting and analysis.
• Support annual and ad-hoc business reviews through data-driven recommendations.
