Job summary

GRIT is seeking an APAC Development Lead to drive early-stage data centre projects across the region. You will integrate engineering, site development and project strategy to shape viable concepts and performance criteria.

You will lead technical due diligence, assess site feasibility, and collaborate with real estate, finance and external stakeholders to define development approaches and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
• 5–8 years of engineering experience, ideally in data centres or mission-critical infra.
• Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and data centre infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience with site assessment, technical due diligence or early-stage development.
• APAC exposure preferred.
• Willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical due diligence and feasibility assessments for APAC data centre sites.
• Assess site constraints, infrastructure, utilities and development readiness.
• Provide mechanical input into early-stage development and concept design.
• Develop initial engineering strategies and site concepts.
• Engage with utilities, authorities and external stakeholders.
• Support transition from development to detailed design and construction.
• Contribute to development across multiple APAC markets.
