Job summary

EdgeConneX, a global data center provider, seeks an experienced development engineer to drive site evaluation, concept design, and early-stage planning across APAC. You will shape power, cooling, and infrastructure strategies while coordinating with utilities, regulators, and cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5–8 years in mission-critical infra and 2+ years in data center development, with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, and a focus on scalable, resilient design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline with 5–8 years in mission-critical infra or large-scale projects.
• Minimum 2+ years in data center development or equivalent.
• Experience with site due diligence, feasibility, and early-stage development.

Responsibilities

• Lead site identification and technical due diligence across APAC.
• Develop test fits, layouts, and high-level engineering solutions.
• Plan capacity, redundancy, and future expansion for hyperscale needs.
• Engage utilities and regulators for permitting and power capacity.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners on development timelines.
