Job summary

CMA CGM in Singapore is seeking a Head of Cost and Revenue Control to lead the APAC cost and revenue control agenda and serve as a strategic finance business partner to regional leadership, agencies, Operations, GBS, and Head Office.

You will protect margins, improve cost and revenue accuracy, and enable better business decisions through performance management, operational insight, and transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years’ experience in the shipping industry, including at least 3 years in Operations and/or Finance.
• Strong business partnering skills with ability to influence stakeholders.
• Analytical rigor to interpret data and drive recommendations.
• Proven problem-solving and execution skills to drive solutions to completion.
• Effective interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Ability to prioritise, manage performance, and deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional Efficiency and Procure-to-Pay team.
• Partner with Regional Management, agencies, GBS, and Head Office to strengthen cost control and margin performance.
• Define regional cost-control priorities aligned with business targets.
• Monitor cost performance across regional sites and provide insights and actions.
• Ensure consistent implementation of cost-control SOPs and reporting standards.
• Drive margin-improvement and efficiency initiatives from analysis to implementation.
• Ensure accuracy of tariffs, databases, dashboards, OPEX, and revenue reporting.
• Identify deviations, risks, and opportunities; lead corrective actions.
• Provide senior management with clear analyses and recommendations.
• Conduct regional site visits and escalate key issues as needed.
