Job summary

HANSING RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an Android Development Engineer to join a global provider of intelligent payment terminals and software solutions.

The role involves developing Android applications for APAC markets, integrating payment SDKs, and delivering scalable, high-performance components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across regions and contribute to PCI/ payment industry compliance while advancing Android-based payment systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java/Kotlin, Android architecture, and SDK integration.
• Experience in payment/FinTech projects (POS, acquiring, etc.) is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support Android applications tailored for APAC market needs.
• Integrate payment SDKs, transaction modules, and terminal vendor solutions.
• Design and implement high-performance, high-concurrency architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and HQ in China (product, testing, operations, and business units).
• Translate market requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Stay updated on payment industry trends, policies, and compliance requirements.
