Job summary

Adyen in Singapore is seeking a Team Lead - Software Engineer to guide a talented group of engineers building the Global Cards platform for APAC. You will shape technical direction, mentor engineers, and partner with product managers to deliver scalable payment capabilities across the region.

You'll collaborate with teams across Europe, APAC, and North America, driving reliability, performance, and maintainability while championing ownership and continuous improvement in a fast-growing fintech

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong background in scalable backend systems, preferably Java.
• Experience coaching engineers and driving career development.
• Ability to balance engineering quality with business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Software Engineers.
• Foster a high-performing engineering culture built on ownership and collaboration.
• Partner with Product Managers to translate priorities into scalable technical solutions.
