Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to lead development of our native Android apps and SDKs for merchants worldwide, focusing on secure, scalable mobile experiences.

You will collaborate with product and design, own features end-to-end, apply MVVM/Jetpack with Kotlin, and ensure robust testing, CI/CD pipelines, and high-quality code across our fintech platform in Singapore.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of Android development building production apps.
• Strong Kotlin skills and ability to read Java codebases.
• Solid knowledge of Android architecture components and Jetpack libraries.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Design & implement enterprise Android applications and libraries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define requirements and technical specs.
• Own full-cycle product development as a core contributor.
• Refactor code for maintainability, extensibility and reusability.
