Job summary

AspenTech is seeking a strategic Alliances Director (APAC) to lead and optimize our regional partner ecosystem. You will develop and implement partner strategies, oversee all sales partner activities, and drive joint go-to-market initiatives with partners and customers.

Your impact includes shaping go-to-market programs, expanding key verticals, enabling partner success, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure consistent execution across the APAC region, including English and Mandarin

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of proven success in enterprise tech partner management, alliance building, or channel sales within the Asia Pacific region.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Good understanding of operational technology (OT) software, digital transformation, and industrial software solutions within process and manufacturing industries (energy, chemicals, mining, or power).
• Strong track record of balancing high-level strategy with hands-on operational rigor (deal registration, compliance, and commission governance).
• Outstanding ability to build trust, influence without authority, and present to C-suite executives.

Responsibilities

• Go-to-Market Strategy: Build and execute structured partner strategies, joint business plans, and co-marketing campaigns.
• Vertical Expansion: Accelerate market share in core process industries and growth verticals.
• Enablement & Adoption: Upskill partners on AspenTech best practices for standalone and co-selling opportunities.
• Cross-Organizational Interlock: Align internal teams to streamline joint deal strategies and governance.
