Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Sales Engineer to strengthen the APAC team in Singapore. The role focuses on identifying customer values early in the sales cycle and translating them into winning technical solutions while balancing technology and cost.

You will support the sales manager through pre-bid, bid, and closing phases, and present technical content to customers as needed. This is a dynamic, international environment requiring strong problem-solving and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electro-mechanical Engineering, Logistics.
• Excellent command of English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Defines sales tactics with the Sales Manager and acts accordingly.
• Solves commercial/tactical issues with the Sales Manager.
• Organises all sales engineering deliverables through pre-bid to handover to execution.
• Involves technical experts to develop best conceptual designs.
• Leads internal sales support teams (procurement, planning, concept design, controls).
• Travels internationally up to 20%.
