Job summary

Meta seeks a senior communications leader to shape the external narrative around AI and innovation across APAC. You will develop and execute high-impact strategies that advance understanding of Meta's AI products, research, and responsible innovation among media, policymakers, industry partners, and the public.

You will mentor teams, translate complex AI developments into compelling stories, and drive proactive coverage while aligning APAC plans with global narratives.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in external communications, public relations, or corporate communications with a focus on technology, AI, or innovation.
• Experience developing and executing multi-market communications strategies across APAC, adapting messaging for diverse audiences.
• Track record of building and sustaining influential media and stakeholder relationships across multiple APAC markets.
• Experience advising and influencing senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders on communications strategy, messaging, and reputational risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the regional communications strategy for Meta's AI and innovation portfolio across APAC.
• Build and manage relationships with top-tier technology, business, and policy media across APAC markets.
• Serve as a strategic communications advisor to APAC leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Craft and refine executive messaging, briefing materials, op-eds, press statements, and thought leadership content.
• Identify emerging AI narratives and develop proactive and reactive communications plans for the region.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with global teams to ensure APAC perspectives are integrated.
• Manage high-stakes media moments including product launches, research publications, regulatory developments, and crisis communications.
• Develop measurement frameworks to evaluate effectiveness and use data-driven insights to refine strategy.
