Red Hat, Inc. is seeking an accomplished Director for the APAC AI COE based in Singapore.

You will provide executive leadership for a multi-disciplinary R&D team of engineers, architects, and project managers, steering open-source initiatives and strategic governance across the region. In this role, you will liaison with Singapore's EDB and other government bodies, translate regional needs into scalable, production-ready architectures, and govern the COE's R&D lifecycle to deliver high-impact,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, CE, or related field.
• MBA or business-strategy certification is a strong differentiator.
• 12+ years in software engineering, system architecture, or R&D leadership.
• 5+ years in an executive-level strategic role bridging tech and business.

Responsibilities

• Lead APAC AI COE strategy and governance.
• Represent COE to EDB and government bodies; oversee compliance.
• Oversee upstreaming 70% of code to open-source projects.
• Lead multi-disciplinary Singapore-based squads and pre-sales alignment.
