Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Singapore is seeking an experienced Sales Support professional to assist the A&D sales team across Asia Pacific, handling orders, invoices, quotations, contracts, and reports while addressing complex customer inquiries on pricing, availability, delivery, and order status.

You will coordinate with planning, manufacturing, engineering, quality, logistics, and finance to resolve delivery and payment issues, maintain records, generate sales statistics, and participate in meetings

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of related experience in sales administration, customer support and logistics.
• Degree/Diploma in Business management or Engineering/Technical discipline.
• Correspondence with Asia counterparts and preferable good in such communication and written skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment, cultivate strong customer relationships.
• Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities and time management skills.
• Ability to stay calm, positive, helpful and optimistic in stressful situations.
• Ability to manage multi-projects with good project management and planning skills.
• Ability to translate customer requirements, identify and quantify the value of collaborative customer solutions.
• Computer proficiency, with emphasis on SAP, BI, Microsoft products, and the ability to quickly learn new applications.
• Ability to travel as whenever needed in short notice.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support for A&D sales team in Asia Pacific, but not limited to OEMs and MRO (Aftermarket) customers, e.g. OEM’s Production Orders, Product Overhaul and Repair (Aftermarket), PMA parts, etc.
• Provide Key/Global Account aftersales support by developing business relationships with Key/Global Account Managers to understand, enforce, support, and follow through business processes and agreements with customers, managing delivery problems, quality questions, etc.
• Partner with sales team in supporting daily customer activities and orders execution; review and follow up customer's order terms and conditions, AR, credit terms, payment deductions within assigned authority level.
• Handle quality issues for returns and order management issues to resolution with sales team.
• Prepare expenses and sales reports, forecast analysis, recommend process improvements, and participate in internal and external co-planning activities.
• Establish and maintain a close liaison with sales team, material planning, manufacturing, engineering, sales, quality, warehouse, transport or shipping, distribution, finance and accounting departments and the customer to match customer needs with Parker LORD capabilities and expectations.
• Organize and participate in customer and regional teleconferences, sales meetings, and trade shows.
