Job summary

Advanced CAE Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Analyzer Engineer to provide hands-on testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance support for Process Analyzer Systems.

You will work across in-house testing, FAT, SAT, commissioning and preventive maintenance, supporting customers in refinery, petrochemical and power industries with strong exposure in Singapore and overseas projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience with Process Analyzers / Analytical Instrumentation in refinery, petrochemical or power environments.
• Hands-on experience in FAT, SAT, commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop FAT procedures for Process Analyzer Systems based on project specs.
• Perform in-house testing, FAT, SAT, commissioning and start-up of analyzer systems.
• Troubleshoot analyzer systems and provide technical support to Field Service Engineers.
• Work with suppliers and OEMs to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, shutdown servicing and customer support for analytical systems.
• Prepare accurate test, commissioning and service reports and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams on project and maintenance activities.
• Support technical training and development of new engineers and technicians.
• Contribute to safety, testing standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support overseas commissioning and maintenance assignments when required.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Analyzer Engineer to provide hands‑on testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance support for Process Analyzer Systems.

You will work across in‑house testing, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), commissioning and preventive maintenance, supporting customers in the Refinery, Petrochemical and Power industries.

This role offers strong technical exposure across both Singapore and overseas projects.

What You’ll Do

• Develop test plans and FAT procedures for Process Analyzer Systems based on project specifications.

• Perform hands‑on in‑house testing, FAT, SAT, commissioning and start‑up of analyzer systems.

• Troubleshoot analyzer systems and provide technical support to Field Service Engineers.

• Work with suppliers and OEMs to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

• Perform preventive maintenance, shutdown servicing and customer support for analytical systems.

• Prepare accurate test, commissioning and service reports and maintain technical documentation.

• Coordinate with customers and internal teams on project, commissioning and maintenance activities.

• Support technical training and development of new engineers and technicians.

• Contribute to safety, testing standards, best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Support long‑term service assignments, including projects on Jurong Island, when required.

• Undertake short‑or long‑term overseas commissioning and maintenance assignments when required.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience with Process Analyzers / Analytical Instrumentation within Refinery, Petrochemical or Power Plant environments.

• Hands‑on experience in FAT, SAT, commissioning, start‑up, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

• Familiar with HART Communicator, PLCs, computers and analyzer‑related software.

• Able to interpret technical requirements and prepare clear service and test reports.

• Good written and spoken English with strong customer communication skills.

• Independent, hands‑on and safety‑conscious with good troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.

• Willing to work on Jurong Island and travel overseas for project or service assignments when required.
