Boehringer Ingelheim Singapore invites an AI&F Intern to support data analytics, market research, GenAI development, and forecasting projects that back business planning and monitoring.

You will gain hands-on experience in commercial analytics within the pharmaceutical industry while developing analytical and project management skills in a collaborative, global team.

Qualifications

• Commitment for Jan–May/Jun internship (4–5 months).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (including VBA), Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge in Tableau (preferred) and/or PowerBI.
• Knowledge in using SQL or queries for databases.
• Knowledge in advanced analytics or data science platforms (Python, R, GenAI) is an advantage.
• Teamwork, learning agility, project management and analytical skills.

The AI&F Intern will support on data analytics, market research, advanced analytics, GenAI development and/or forecasting projects to support business planning and monitoring. He / She will also gain an understanding of role of commercial analytics in pharmaceutical industry.

• Data exploration and preparing various data sets to required format for data analysis
• Involvement on advanced analytics projects and process automation/optimization
• Involvement in budgeting and resource forecasting
• Implementing specific market research projects identified by the team
• Gain an understanding of role of commercial analytics in pharmaceutical industry.
• Develop analytical skills
• Develop project management and collaboration skills.

Pre-requisite

• Ability to commit to from Jan – May/Jun (4 - 5months internship). Part-time applicants will be considered if you can commit to a min. of 3 workdays per week. (International students not taking this as a credit-bearing internship need not apply as you will not be able to meet this requirement.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (including VBA), Word and PowerPoint
• Knowledge in using Tableau (preferred) and/or PowerBI
• Knowledge in using SQL or query for databases;
• Knowledge in using technical documentation is an advantage (e.g. Confluence, Bitbucket, Collibra)
• Knowledge in advanced analytics or other data science platforms is an advantage (python, R, GenAI)
