Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in APAC CAO is seeking a Control Manager to strengthen AI governance and risk management across the region. You will coordinate AI risk controls, align with CORE standards, and drive regulatory readiness with cross‑functional partners.

Responsibilities include leading control identification, testing coordination, and incident management while partnering with Legal, Compliance, and Audit to ensure a robust control environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data and Information Architecture, or a related field.
• At least 8 years experience with AI/ML risk management practices.
• Experience in financial services controls, information security, audit or compliance.
• Understanding of the three lines of defence model.

Responsibilities

• Ensure key controls described in AI/ML Analytics Standards are reflected in CAO APAC CORE content.
• Partner with APAC CAO/CDAO stakeholders to strengthen risk identification and control testing execution.
• Support risk and regulatory assessments and coordinate inputs across partners.
• Develop and maintain control management framework documentation for AI/ML activities.
• Contribute to APAC CAO control community of practice to drive standards and practices.
• Review reporting to identify emerging risks and improve metric design.
• Assist with materials for regulatory queries, exams, and meetings.
• Coordinate with Legal, Model Risk & Governance, Compliance, Operational Risk and Audit.
• Demonstrate strong professional conduct and build trust with partners.
