Job summary

Singapore Energy Interconnections seeks an Analyst (Regulatory Management) to monitor regulatory developments in Singapore's energy sector and cross-border electricity matters, aligning SG EIs strategy with government policy to support Singapore's energy transition.

You will work with internal teams and external stakeholders to prepare regulatory submissions, influence outcomes and provide timely information for decision making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Public Policy, Political Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and presentations.
  • Meticulous, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across various stakeholders.
  • Interest in regulatory affairs, public policy, infrastructure, energy, or cross-border development projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, research and analyse regulatory, policy and industry developments relevant to SGEI's business.
  • Prepare management reports, presentations, and regulatory papers for internal stakeholders to facilitate decision making.
  • Maintain regulatory trackers, approval status reports, permits, funding requirements, and related documentation to ensure timely regulatory approvals.
  • Coordinate information gathering, reporting and alignment across internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Regulatory Management team in any other matters as necessary.

Job description

The Analyst (Regulatory Management) helps SGEI to monitor regulatory developments in Singapore's energy sector and cross-border electricity matters, and facilitate alignment between SGEI and the Singapore Government to achieve Singapore's energy transition objectives. The role works closely with internal stakeholders and external parties to conduct regulatory submissions, influence regulatory outcomes, and support project development, while ensuring accurate and timely information is provided to support decision-making.
