Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an Analyst in Asset Management – Assistant Director to drive strategic oversight of a portfolio of companies, enhancing governance and investment performance.

You will collaborate with a small team as an external director or in a similar role, develop and execute business plans, report to the Investment Committee, strengthen internal controls, and identify new investment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in business, finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of practical experience in consulting, investment banking, or corporate finance.
• Solid understanding of M&A processes, business improvement, and portfolio management.
• Proven capability in governance and operational tasks.
• Proactive approach to tackling operations and investments.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a small team to manage portfolio companies as an external director or in a similar role.
• Take responsibility for formulating and executing business plans (including businessstrategies, action plans to improve the company value, and exit strategies) to maximizeinvestment performance
• Submit business plans and provide reporting to the Investment Committee and otherrelevant bodies
• Establish and strengthen internal controls and corporate governance frameworks
• Establish andimprove financialandoperational systems(e.g., verifyingthestatusofbalance sheets and income statements)
• Verify the establishment and operation of the board of directors and managementstructure
• Execute exits in collaboration with the team at the Japanese headquarters
• Identifying new investment opportunities (sourcing) by leveraging networks and otherresources gained through asset management operations.

Requirements:
