Job summary

MPICS INNOVATIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a designer to join our analog IC design team, developing IP for customers and for our internal IP library using advanced CMOS, BiCMOS and DMOS technologies.

You will understand customer requirements, draft concepts and plans for circuit-level implementation, perform design capture and simulations, and collaborate with Layout Designers to produce foundry-ready layouts. Laboratory tests will verify and improve designs before delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design analog ICs and develop IP for customers and internal IP library.
• Understand customer requirements and specifications for ICs.
• Develop concepts and plans for circuit-level implementation.
• Perform design capture and circuit simulations.
• Collaborate with Layout Designers for foundry-ready IC layouts.
• Run laboratory experiments to verify designs and iterate improvements before delivery.

Job description

Theincumbent will be part of a design team involved in designing analog integrated circuits and developing Intellectual Property for our customers as well as for our internal IP library using advance CMOS, BiCMOS andDMOS technology. The scope of the job involves understanding customer requirements and specifications, developing concepts and plans for circuit level implementation, design capture and simulation. The designer will also be involved in laying out of the IC with Layout Designers to make it suitable for foundry processing. When the IC has been fabricated and assembled into IC products, the designer is expected to run laboratory experiments using test equipment to verify their designs and make improvements before delivery of solutions to our customers.

The designer will be exposed to tools including Schematic and Layout Capture, Spice Simulation, Signal Processing Maths Software, Field Solvers, Physical Verification tools like DRC, LVS and Post Layout Extraction during the design phase.
