Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Technical Lead with deep AML, integration, and payment products experience to drive end-to-end delivery across APAC markets.

You will architect and implement solutions aligning with regulatory and business objectives, while guiding development teams and coordinating with stakeholders. Ideal candidates have 15+ years in technical roles, 10+ years in international banking, and strong governance, security, and cross-border payment knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• TOGAF or other enterprise architecture certifications are a plus.
• 15+ years of experience in technical roles including solution design, integration, and implementation.
• 10+ years of experience in the international banking sector, focusing on AML, KYC & Compliance.
• Extensive experience leading technical delivery of large-scale, multi-market platform implementations in the international banking/financial services sector.
• Strong expertise in integration and implementation of banking solutions.
• Proven track record overseeing end-to-end technical implementation for banking platforms.
• Deep knowledge of cross-border payment products and high-value transactions.
• In-depth knowledge of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements for platform technology.
• Ability to manage geographically distributed teams across APAC markets.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical strategy and architecture for AML platform implementations.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance to development teams and enforce governance.
• Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and performance requirements.
• Lead design, development, and deployment of integrated banking solutions with core systems.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and operations to optimize performance and maintainability.
• Adopt modern technologies, APIs, microservices, and industry practices to improve reliability.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Drive automation and best practices to enhance delivery speed and resilience.
• Work with stakeholders and vendors to align technical and business objectives.
• Serve as technical liaison to senior management for governance updates.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and mentor team members.
