Job summary

jobline resources pte. ltd. is seeking a senior technical architect to define the AML platform strategy and lead architecture and implementation across APAC markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• TOGAF or enterprise architecture certifications are a plus.
• 15+ years in technical roles including solution design, integration and implementation.
• 10+ years in international banking sector focusing on AML, KYC & Compliance.
• Extensive experience leading technical delivery of large-scale, multi-market platform implementations in banking or financial services.
• Deep knowledge of cross-border payment products and payment processing systems.
• Understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements for platform technology in finance.
• Ability to manage geographically distributed teams across APAC markets.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical strategy and architecture for AML platforms, aligning with IT standards and business objectives.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices in coding, integration, and system design.
• Establish and enforce technical governance for security, scalability, and performance.
• Lead design, development, and deployment of solutions, ensuring seamless integration with core banking systems and payment platforms.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and operations to optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Adopt modern technologies including APIs, microservices, and industry-leading methodologies to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle to meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for robust, scalable solutions.
• Drive automation and best practices to improve delivery speed, resilience, and efficiency.
• Engage with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to align technical and business objectives.
• Act as primary technical liaison between internal teams and platform vendors for smooth integration and issue resolution.
• Provide technical insights to senior management to support governance and strategy.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends to drive AML product innovation.
• Develop and mentor technical talent, fostering continuous learning.
• Document best practices, standards, and lessons learned for future implementations and knowledge sharing.
• Extensive exposure to Asia Pacific markets with regional banking transformations and AML implementations.
