Job summary

Singapore Airlines Limited seeks an Associate/Senior Associate in Airport Operations, focusing on Safety, Security & Load Control within the Airport Operations Department. Qualifications

• Diploma in any discipline.
• Experience in airport operations and/or flight operations preferred.
• Experience in safety management system advantageous.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

• Good organisation skills with a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Admin for AOSSC (Safety & Security).
• Assist with email queries from stations and service providers on ground safety and security matters.
• Assist with preparing for Safety Management System and IATA Operational Safety Audits.
• Assist with conducting annual Continuous Self-Assessment (CSA) exercise.
• Communicate with stations to update on any ground safety, security and load control changes and share best practices.
• Ensure AOD auditors’ and CSO staff training currency is up to date.
• Update manuals with new procedures/policies and ensure updated versions are available in the GSD database.
• Compile and review Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) forms submitted by stations every 2 years or as required.
• Assist to review and maintain a HIRA register per SMS requirements.
• Arrange/Coordinate meetings and events and safety campaigns.
• Ensure payments for fines to authorities are relayed to Procurement/Finance for recovery against service providers.
• Conduct surveys and collate responses.
• Ground Safety and Security
• Perform ground safety (ground handling and cargo) and process audits on SIN and overseas stations based on AOSSC Audit Plan.
• Assist to investigate incidents and hazard reports and provide findings and corrective actions.
• All reports must be investigated and updated in the system within target date of completion.
• Assist to analyze safety performance data for insights and generate/write reports.
• Actively drive ground safety and security initiatives and provide training for ground staff.
• Support Services
• Ad-hoc support for crisis or major flight disruption handling at airport or overseas stations.
