Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is seeking an experienced airfreight import specialist who can manage end-to-end shipments from arrival to delivery, invoicing and closure. The role requires coordinating with customers, airlines and partners to ensure timely delivery, handling inquiries, and resolving issues efficiently.

Experience with import docs, customs clearance and billing is essential; familiarity with CargoWise is an advantage.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in airfreight import operations and customer service.
Good knowledge of import documentation, customs clearance and billing procedures.
Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Able to manage multiple shipments independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end airfreight import shipments, from arrival and customs clearance to delivery, billing and shipment closure.
Liaise with customers, airlines, trucking partners and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely shipment delivery.
Provide shipment updates, handle customer enquiries and resolve operational issues promptly.
Prepare and check shipping documents, customs declarations and billing records for accuracy.
Monitor shipment status and ensure compliance with service standards and operational procedures.
Proactively resolve shipment delays and documentation issues while maintaining good customer relationships.
Support and guide junior team members where required.
