Job summary

Adecco Personnel Pte Ltd (Perm) is seeking an experienced freight forwarding professional to manage end-to-end air freight import shipments from origin through clearance to final delivery.

You will coordinate with overseas offices, airlines, terminals, transporters and vendors to ensure smooth shipment movement and provide customers with timely updates while handling enquiries and issues. The role includes documentation, billing support and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree preferred; relevant experience can be considered in place of education.
• Minimum 2 years of freight forwarding, air freight, import/export or logistics customer service experience.
• Good understanding of air import processes and shipment documentation.
• Key account, billing or special cargo experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of logistics systems such as WFS/Tango or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end air freight import shipments from origin through cargo clearance to final delivery.
• Coordinate with overseas offices, airlines, terminals, transporters and vendors to ensure smooth shipment movement.
• Provide customers with timely shipment updates and handle enquiries, delays, discrepancies and cargo-related issues.
• Prepare and process shipment documentation, permits and system updates according to customer SOPs.
• Support billing, invoicing, customer account setup and operational/KPI reporting.
• Ensure shipments meet customer requirements, operational KPIs and regulatory requirements.
