Job summary

Talents@Work Pte Ltd is seeking an Airfreight Customer Service Executive (Import/Export) in Singapore to manage end-to-end airfreight import shipments with a focus on accurate documentation, customs compliance, and timely updates to customers.

You will coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, trucking partners, and internal teams while maintaining SLAs and KPIs. Fresh graduates are welcome and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of end-to-end airfreight import processes, including documentation, customs clearance, and billing.
• Fresh Graduates are welcome; training is provided.
• Strong operational and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple shipments.
• Excellent customer service skills with proactive communication.
• Good coordination with internal teams, carriers, and customers.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end airfreight import shipments, including arrival, documentation, customs clearance, delivery, billing, and closure.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers on import shipments and provide timely updates.
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handling agents, trucking partners, customs, and internal teams for execution and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor shipment status, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met and procedures followed.
• Take ownership of complex shipments and resolve delays or documentation issues proactively.
• Identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, reports, and regulatory documentation.
• Guide junior staff on import procedures and best practices.
• Escalate unresolved issues to management and ensure timely follow-up.
