Job summary

ST Engineering in Singapore is seeking a Planning Specialist to liaison with Production and customers to facilitate pre-planning of aircraft maintenance work-packages, review specifications, and coordinate with multiple departments.

You will assess labor hours, tooling needs, and durations, ensuring documentation meets aviation authority requirements, and perform related project duties as directed.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a polytechnic diploma or professional qualification.
• Understanding of MRO maintenance capability and workflow.
• Ability to engage customers and negotiate labour hours.
• Familiar with aviation authority requirements for aircraft maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to Planning Manager, liaise with Production team and customer to facilitate pre-planning of aircraft maintenance work-package.
• Reviewing and produce the aircraft maintenance work specifications (work task summary, material listing, tooling list, manual and drawing listing) related to the assigned projects for use by other Departments.
• Co-ordinating with other Departments on issues relating to the applicable documentation for the aircraft project.
• Co-ordinating with the customer representatives and other Departments on inquires related to the documentation and services needed for the aircraft project.
• Assessing the capability, labour man-hour and job duration requirement, special tooling requirement related to the contracted aircraft project and addition work requirement from the Customer during aircraft maintenance.
• Performing special project duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Liaising with the Production (Dock) Controllers on the day-to-day planning duties
