Job summary

• Ensure safety, security controls, and compliance with SOPs and company policies.

Job description

Supervise and participate to perform in day-to-day air freight warehouse operations, including receiving, checking, sorting, labelling, storing, picking, staging, loading, and dispatching cargo.

Coordinate inbound cargo activities, verify shipment documentation, inspect cargo condition and quantity, and report discrepancies, shortages, or damages promptly.

Coordinate outbound cargo activities, ensuring shipments are correctly picked, packed, labelled, documented, and prepared within airline cut-off times and delivery schedules.

Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely when required.

Allocate work, brief warehouse personnel, monitor attendance and productivity, and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Maintain accurate cargo locations, stock records, pallet inventories, and warehouse system transactions.

Ensure proper cargo segregation and handling, including special, valuable, temperature-sensitive, oversized, or dangerous goods where authorised and trained.

Maintain warehouse cleanliness, security,traffic control, and safe storage practices.

Conduct routine equipment checks and report defects involving forklifts, racking, loading bays, and other warehouse equipment.

Coordinate with air freight import and export teams, transport providers, ground-handling agents, customers, and other relevant parties.

Investigate operational incidents and cargo discrepancies and support corrective and preventive actions.

Monitor warehouse performance and prepare shift handovers, operational records, stock-count results, and reports.

Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health requirements, security controls, standard operating procedures, and company policies.

Perform other operational duties assigned by the manager.
